The 91st Annual Academy Awards took place last night and all our favorite Hollywood stars strutted down the red carpet for the biggest night in the entertainment industry. Several stars wore Karl Lagerfeld’s last couture creations from Fendi and Chanel, paying homage to the late designer. Brandon Maxwell and Versace were another two designers that made several appearances on the carpet. Pink was also a major trend, from shades of pale pink to bright poppy magenta. Celebrities went for the royal touch with their gowns featuring very long and dramatic trains. Statement necklaces also made big appearances from Lady Gaga’s borrowed 128 carat Tiffany diamond to Amy Adams diamond necklace. Today we’ll be sharing our favorite looks from last night’s glamorous red carpet that we thought shined bright the most!

One of the world’s most famous fashion designers and one of our favorites, Karl Lagerfeld, has passed at the age of 85. He is remembered by his legacy at the design houses of Chanel, Fendi, and his own line by his namesake.

It’s no secret - we are huge fans of fashion week. We love the fresh new looks, the edgy street style, and the overall excitement that comes with the dawning of a new season of designer fashion. When searching for designer pieces, second hand is my favorite way to shop!  There’s something about walking into a consignment shop having no idea what you may find.  They tend to have unique and vintage pieces that you won’t see many other people with.  Second hand designer truly excites me because it feels like you’re on a hunt for the perfect piece and not just easily ordering a common piece online.
