Must See: China Through the Looking Glass at the Met
I recently had an amazing New York City experience! I visited the nationally acclaimed "China Through the Looking Glass" exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. As a native New Yorker, I take New York for granted. I don’t visit a lot of NYC museums. I work two blocks from the Met and I can count on one hand how many times I have gone to that world-renowned museum. Working in the fashion industry, and being a "Michael's Girl", Laura decided to send me on a "field trip". And, oh my god, it was eye popping beauty and luxurious awesomeness all in one. I was in awe. I need to go back before it closes. The three hours I was allowed to steal away during the workday was just not enough. But more importantly, this visit inspired me to visit more museums. No more, “I can do that tomorrow or next week or next month” excuses. This experience reminded me that I live in the coolest city ever and I should take advantage of it all!!
So if you live here or are visiting here, whether you love fashion or not, go to the Met before September 7, 2015. I promise you will not be disappointed.
